History

A crew hired by M.O.D.O.K. to help steal Captain America's shield under the pretence of substantial wealth for each member, M.O.D.O.K.'s six began their planning stage by retrieving Tenpin's Pins from a pawn shop. From there, however, a pattern for the team begun of each member becoming fixating on personal problems; seeing a wedding ring in a pawn shop caused Armadillo to tunnel underground and have a drunken confrontation with his ex-wife, which led to the rest of the team needing to call upon the Super Adaptoid for transportation. After they recovered Armadillo, Angar damaged the car of a group of teams after triggering his anxieties about age, causing them to chase the van with a crossbow which led them to Poundcakes' old high school. Reflecting on her experiences with anti-mutant prejudice and causing the other members to leave, M.O.D.O.K. gave a speech to them which unintentionally revealed his true intentions to steal the shield, causing the team to split up. [1]

Meeting the other members in Night Loaf, M.O.D.O.K. apologised and was eventually able to reconcile with them, causing the team to reunite and decide to steal Captain America's Shield so they could hang it on the bar with No Name. However, the team fell asleep on the bus, instead waking up at Coney Island. Despite failing in their mission, the team were still satisfied with the night before and the fun time they had. They resolved to go back to the Bar with No Name for one last round. Unfortunately, as they were leaving, Melter died of natural causes. [1]

Notes

  • Super Adaptoid considered himself a part of this team, but M.O.D.O.K. refused to acknowledge him.
