History
Early Life[]
Mac Gargan was born on June 3rd, 1983. He used to be a run-of-the-mill street criminal and not an especially good one. His first offense was a vandalism charge, circa April 21st, 1998. One month later, he committed larceny. One year after that, on February 17th, he committed assault. Several months later he committed grand larceny. 2 years later, on February 11th, he committed extortion. 2 years later, on November 2nd, he found out that a witness saw him commit a crime, and intimidated said witness into keeping quiet about his actions. 2 years later, an unknown individual provoked him into attacking them. 3 years later, in June 12th, he kidnapped an unknown individual. 4 years later, he was caught by authorities attempting to murder someone, though it is safe to assume that he escaped custody for reasons that ought to be obvious. On May 24th, one year after Peter Parker became Spider-Man, he was arrested for murder, but somehow escaped. He later signed up for an untested procedure to fuse his body with a mechanized combat suit, funded by J.Jonah Jameson, in order to combat Spider-Man. The process made Gargan stronger and faster than naturally possible, but also exacerbated his rage and aggression. He soon became one of the many villains that Spider-Man defeated and was eventually incarcerated in the Raft, spending years locked away.
Marvel's Spider-Man[]
In 2018, during the Devil's Breath crisis in New York City, Scorpion was released by Doctor Octopus, who made him part of the Sinister Six, a supervillain group formed as part of his revenge plan on Mayor Norman Osborn. After joining the other members to battle his old enemy Spider-Man on the rooftop of the Raft, He was sent with Rhino to destroy the city. Scorpion was first sent to attack and poison the city's reservoir. Spider-Man went to investigate, only to be attacked and poisoned by him. Hallucinating due to the neurotoxin, Spider-Man went through the city, managing to reach Octavius Industries, where he could develop an antiserum to Scorpion's venom.
Later, Scorpion and Rhino proceeded to attack another Sable International outpost, now near the George Washington Bridge, only to be ambushed by Spider-Man once more, who after a difficult battle, defeated both by locking them on a container together. After that, he was arrested and sent again to the Raft.[1]
Kraven's Last Hunt[]
After Sandman was captured by the Spider-Men, Gargan and Martin Li needed to be transferred from The Raft to a more appropriate location, but in the process they were abducted by Kraven’s Hunters. Later, he managed to escape the cage he was in and tried to sneakily attack Kraven, who instead immediately overpowered him and stabbed him with his own tail, declaring him an unworthy prey.[2]Attributes
