History

Scorpion's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's up to the point where Spider-Man first bonded to the Venom symbiote. When Spider-Man began killed criminals, the Kingpin feared that Spider-Man would eventually come after him. So, he hired Scorpion and Shocker to kill Spider-Man. However, Spider-Man choked him to death using his symbiote's biomass before turning his attention to Shocker, dismembering both villains and bringing Scorpion's tail and limbs to Kingpin to show him that he did.
