After trying to steal a dangerous mind altering gas, the Scorpion was defeated and sent to jail. When an impostor began committing crimes dressed up in a Spider-Man costume, Spider-Man was also jailed until he could prove his innocence. When Scorpion saw Spider-Man in the cell next to him, he immediately broke into his cell and attacked Spider-Man. Taking the fight outside and later into the prison generator, Scorpion smacked his tail into an electrical conduit, and knocked himself out.[1]
