History

The Mad Deserter used his "Deserter Ray" to force an entire town's population to leave. He then blasted Captain America who followed the townspeople. After shrugging off the ray, Captain America used Hostess Fruit Pies to free everyone else and returned and defeated the Mad Deserter.
