Madness is a symbiote amalgam formed from samples from the Life Foundation Symbiotes (namely Agony, Scream, Lasher, Phage, and Riot) along with a sample of the Toxin Symbiote.

History

Origin[]

After Corwin Jones attacked Alchemax to steal samples from various symbiotes, Carlton Drake, his employer, proposed that he bond to the 6 symbiotes together, resulting in the creation of the Madness symbiote. Jones used Madness to attack Liz Allan, who had bonded to a symbiote made out of the Carnage and Anti-Venom symbiotes, when she confronted him.[2] Later, back at the Life Foundation, Madness' constituent symbiotes asked Jones to trust them but he refused, wanting to be in full control, but the symbiotes overwhelmed him and decided to control him instead.[1] After being notified of Misery's escape, Jones confronted her and Queen Cat, easily disposing of Queen Cat, Madness then separated the Misery symbiote from Allan but was defeated by its Anti-Venom strand. Jones then went into hiding, visiting his daughter, but remained a puppet to the symbiotes.[3]

Attributes

Powers

Madness posseses all the powers of it's constituent symbiotes.

Weaknesses

Anti-Venom Sensibility: The Madness symbiote is weak to the healing touch of Anti-Venom.[2]

Multiple Personalities: The Madness symbiote is composed of 6 symbiotes, while they have been shown of being capable of cooperation and shared goals, they have also been shown to disagree sometimes, as during the fight with Misery and Queen Cat, some of the constituent symbiotes preferred to finish Queen Cat rather than attacking Misery.[3]
