History

The Maggia's history is presumably similar to their Earth-616 counterpart's. They took part in smuggling and selling illegally obtained artifacts, including artifacts from Utopia Isle. One of their sources of artifacts was a supervisor at the Jersey City Museum of Ancient History. One day, some of the Maggia's members were caught by Kamala Khan buying Utopian artifacts from the supervisor. Empowered by one of the artifacts, Kamala easily defeated the Maggia members and stopped the deal.
