History

Magsquito was the arch-enemy of the X-Bugs, until he decided to reform and sell scrap metal. However, he didn't tell his former foes who, believing Magsquito to be on a frenzy of destruction, nearly destroyed his junkard. After being battered, Magsquito explained the X-Bugs the new situation and kicked them out.[1]

Apparently, Magsquito returned to his evil ways because he was among the many villains recruited by the Chinese evil mastermind known as Mandaringtail -then using the monniker "master planner" to avoid being traced prematurely. The Mandaringtail aimed to obtain an American radioactive isotope that would give them power enough to create a number of atomic bombs, which would be transported around the world in a contrived plan that he did not completely reveal to his subordinates. Magsquito waited for some other minions - Baron Zebro, Mad Stinker and his Ham-droid and Paste Pot Peep - on mainland China, where they arrived in the Stinker's submarine; Magsquito's mission was to take the team to the Mandaringtail's castle in a hovering platform.[2]

By then, security agency S.H.E.E.P. had warned many superheroes of this plan. Armored mouse Iron Mouse was vacationing in nearby Mongolia and jumped to intercept them. Iron Mouse attacked the villains with his ray-blasters, but Magsquito super-magnetism disassembled the armor. Insulting Iron Mouse as "Iron Rat-Fink", Magsquito continued his path to the castle in the Gobi Desert.[2]

Finally reaching the Castle Sanctum of the master planner, Magsquito and his allies gave the isotope to the Mandaringtail, only for the Mandaringtail to betray them and throw them to the dungeons. However, the Mandaringtail then confronted Spider-Ham and was defeated, and then arrested by S.H.E.E.P. Spider-Ham told S.H.E.E.P. leader Nick Furry about other criminals, including Magsquito, in the dungeons, so that S.H.E.E.P. could arrest them.[2]

Eventually Magsquito somehow escaped and then, along with most superpowered animals on Earth, was transported to an alien world by the Bee-Yonder, an incredibly powerful alien intelligence who wanted to see the superheroes and villains fighting each other in conditions chosen by him for his own goals. In that conditions, Magsquito was punched on his helmet by Power Mongoose.[3]

Magsquito's second uniform during the Secret Furs.

Magsquito's original uniform was a creative approach to Magneto's, including different colors and a horsehoe magnet on top of the helmet.[1][2] In his last known appearance during the "Secret Furs" event (which was a one-panel cameo), Magsquito's clothings were more similar to original Magneto's, both in colors and shapes, and also missing the horseshoe (maybe because he's being punched exactly on that point).[3]
