History
Captain America merged with the Hulk and Silver Surfer into Major Gamma and Captain Cosmos due to magic tarot cards being shuffled by Diablo as they fell to the ground. They reassembled in strange combinations that merged the gathered Avengers and Defenders together into new, amalgamated heroes.[1]
