History

Malcolm Drake is the guise of a dragon posing as a New York financier who has been using his intellect to influence the gold market. Gold has magical energies to dragons and his manipulation of the gold market sustains him.

He was framed by Malekith to appear to be using his magical abilities to manipulate the stock market. Malekith then tricked Drake and the Black Knight into battling. The two saw through the trick and worked together to reveal Malekith's involvement.
