History

Malcolm Merriwell was the brother of renowned philantropist Harrison J. Merriwell. Trying to stop his brother's activities, he became Midas, the Golden Man and tried to wipe out all African-Americans in Manhattan by drugging them and causing them to go berserk. He was defeated by Spider-Man and the Falcon.
