History
Malekith the Accursed is the ruler of the Dark Elves of Swaralfheim bent on plunging the entire universe into eternal darkness prompting Thor and the rest of Asgard to stop him at all costs.
Notes
Christopher Eccleston will portray Malekith the Accursed in the upcoming Thor: The Dark World.
Trivia
The version featured in the Movie Tie-In Comic, "Citadel of Spires", more resembles the main universe's than the one featured in Thor: The Dark World.
