Born and raised in Haiti, Mambo Ezili was the sister of Calypso Ezili. She led a group of followers and demonstrated her powers with chants, dancing, and rituals, such as one by raising the dead.[1]

As a priestess who studied voodoo, Mambo Ezili excelled at casting various spells by using blood, rituals, or dancing. She has the ability to raise a Nameless One from the dead, create voodoo dolls that were capable of inflicting harm on targets from afar, and transferred the life energy from her fellow priests into the Nameless One. Mambo can also cast a divination spell to learn the true names of her targets.[1]
