After providing the Philippines with invaluable assistance during the crisis caused by a tsunami, the Triumph Division were honored with a statue in Plaza de Roma. The ceremony of commendation was held in front of the Manila Cathedral. In the middle of the celebration, a group of suicide bombers genetically engineered by Ezekiel Stane disguised as monks approached the superheroes and detonated, obliterating the entirety of Plaza de Roma, including the cathedral.[1]
