History

The Marauders are led by Mr. Sinister and consists of Arclight (who is the field leader), Blockbuster, Harpoon, Multiple Man, and Vertigo. The members of the group tend to collect Mutant DNA by force for Mister Sinister's plans to create the "Ultimate Mutant." In the episode "eXcessive Force", Cyclops ends up disrupting their missions at the time when Cyclops thought Mister Sinister had captured Jean Grey.

They also appear in the episode "Guardian Angel", where Mister Sinister transforms Angel into Archangel in order to restore his wings. Archangel then becomes a full Marauder in the episode "Shades of Grey" in which he and the other Marauders (which consists of Arclight, Blockbuster, and Vertigo this time) are captured but escape. In the final scene, it is revealed that Mister Sinister and the Marauders are in league with Apocalypse.
