History

During the war

Peggy Carter fought in World War II, alongside her lover Captain America. Their daughter Sharon Rogers once remarked they not only fought to save the world but fought for each other. After the war, they had their daughter and gained another reason to fight. Eventually, Peggy founded S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Steve, and they would induct Sharon as both a fellow agent and a successor to the Captain America mantle.
