Margaret Carter shared history with her counterpart from Earth-199999. By the year 1970 she was the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., working from the base in Camp Lehigh alongside Howard Stark and Doctor Arnim Zola. During that year, she was observed by time-traveling Steve Rogers from the far future of 2023.
