History

Margay Sorenson was the head of Natural Sciences at Bard College and was quite renown for her work. She became a victim of her husband's jealousy over her success, and she lived with physical abuse for some time, in an effort to keep their family together for Terry.

When Terry was transformed into Equinox at the age of seventeen, she took a leave of absence from her work to try to cure him. She then combined her efforts with Spider-Man, using the Thermic Stabilizer when his son attacked Spidey, Yellowjacket and the Wasp on York Avenue. Using Reed Richards' equipment found in the Baxter Building, she upgraded the thermic stabilizer and succeeded in bringing Equinox's powers back under control.
