History

Maria Petrella was an assassin employed by mobster Nick Diablo for a hit he had called on Dracula's life for seducing his girlfriend. Dracula tried to seduce Petrella, unaware of her intentions. When she tried to stab him to death, he sired her and transformed her into a vampire. In retaliation, Dracula sired many of Diablo's bodyguards and staff into vampires, sending all of them along with Petrella to slay Diablo.
