History
Marilyn was named after the movie star, as her mother thought she was as beautiful. Even when she started mutating and growing additional arms, then gained weight as she was eating to compensate for the bigotry at school and the outside world, her mother kept loving her.[2]
When her mother died, Marilyn was left alone to endure those torments, until Charles Xavier came to her and put her in charge of the cafeteria at the Xavier Institute, offering her a home, love, and hope.[2]
When the Brotherhood of Mutants invaded the school, Marilyn came at Black Tom Cassidy with a frying pan, only to be crushed to death by his vines. Her murder was witnessed by Rogue and prompted the intervention of Northstar.[2]Attributes
