History

Agent Marlene Frazier was sent by the US government to spy on Adam Brashear, but Frazier genuinely fell in love and they ceased contact after 18 month. Under the name Candace, she became Adam's wife and they started a family together. Candace was killed during a battle between the Blue Marvel and the Anti-Man.

Personality

Marlene was initially a dutiful government agent who chose to watch the Blue Marvel in service of national defense. After realizing how racist her country was during her time with Adam, she developed a hatred for racists and had no problem with them experiencing harm for their bigotry. She fell in love with Adam because she saw how he did not act upon his anger despite having the means and reason to do so.
