Synopsis
Tandy, Tyrone, and O'Reilly go to Mina Hess for answers after escaping from O'Reilly's doppelgänger. Based on her own experiments, Mina has discovered exposure to the chemical from the Roxxon leak can split an individual into two different people alike in every way except that one is docile and the other aggressive (and much stronger), although she's never seen it happen in a human before. The three of them follow O'Reilly's own instincts to find her duplicate's apartment and evidence of her own investigations inside. In the months since the Roxxon leak, the aggressive O'Reilly - dubbed "Mayhem" - looked for Detective Connors on her own, but ran into a dead end with his former partner. She became bloodthirsty after impulsively killing Connors' partner, and started investigating the sex trafficking ring to satisfy her bloodlust. Her investigation into the ring brought her to the meeting between the Uptown Block Kings and Money Hustle Gang where she killed everyone.
Tandy, Tyrone, and O'Reilly find Mayhem attacking someone connected to the sex trafficking ring at a strip club. She gets away when O'Reilly can't bring herself to shoot her doppelgänger. They follow her to a truck yard, where she has already rescued a number of girls by killing one of the ring's drivers. Tyrone looks into one of the girls' fears to find a building the sex traffickers operate out of. Tandy and Tyrone get there before the aggressive O'Reilly, and Tyrone wants to do something before she can hurt any more people. Tandy generates another ball of light to blind everyone inside the building so Tyrone can go in and rescue the girls being held there. Tandy gets held up by two gang members waiting outside the building, only to be saved by Mayhem's timely arrival. Mayhem grabs one of their guns, goes inside, and starts shooting everyone. Tyrone pulls her inside his cloak to stop her. Mayhem, now in a dark dimension, finds a refrigerator with Officer Fuchs' dead body stuffed inside. Fuchs asks her if she's up for "awkward reunion pancakes."Cast
