Trivia
- The title of the episode is a reference to the song "Accidents Will Happen" by Elvis Costello.
- Thor and Star-Lord are introduced each other, having never meet before. If it is a continuity mistake or this episode's events happen before the Avengers meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy, still needs to be confirmed.
- The Kree Supreme Intelligence receives a character redesign.
- When Rocket Raccoon drops all his weapons, he also drops a prosthetic leg similar to Kyln prisoner's leg from Earth-199999 Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
- When Star-Lord first meets Captain Victoria, he introduces himself by saying "Some people call me Star-Lord. Some call me the gangster of love." This is a reference to the opening lines of the song "The Joker" by Steve Miller Band.
- The Vorlon Sector is probably a reference to the TV-Series "Babylon 5", created by J. Michael Straczynski, in which the race of the Vorlons played an important part
