Synopsis

Spider-Man is on his way to Horizon's Halloween party when he stops in Central Park to fight the Man-Wolf with the Hulk. The Man-Wolf gets away when the jewel on its chest drains the Hulk of his energy, forcing him to change back into Bruce Banner. Harry Osborn - who Peter was supposed to meet at the party - calls him in a panic to warn him not to come because the Man-Wolf is attacking the party. Spider-Man and Dr. Banner hurry to Horizon, but things get complicated when students the monster scratches transform into werewolves. Banner changes back into the Hulk, but the Hulk's reckless fighting style worry Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy. Harry thinks the Man-Wolf is John Jameson, his lab partner at Osborn Academy, when he recognizes the jewel on his chest as the lunar crystal they've been studying. They find the Man-Wolf and take the crystal off his chest to change him back into harmless John Jameson. The other werewolves, however, are unaffected by this, and - to make matters worse - the crystal turns the Hulk into a werewolf! Harry, Gwen and John Jameson deal with the students while Spider-Man fights the Hulk-Wolf. They realize it's not just the scratches that transformed the students into werewolves, but also the gamma radiation the crystal absorbed from the Hulk during their fight in Central Park. They use the lunar crystal to drain the gamma radiation from Dr. Banner and the students and change them back into their normal selves. Later, Peter Parker meets Harry and apologizes for not making it to the Halloween party. John Jameson reports the success of the lunar crystal's field test to Norman Osborn, even if he accidentally got Harry involved.
