Synopsis

Peter Parker bumps into Randy Macklin, a jewel thief in Hammerhead's gang, while on his way to meet Harry Osborn. Macklin slips a diamond into Peter's bag. Harry shows Peter his new invention, a cryogenic gauntlet based on Peter's design that he hopes can prove Horizon High and OsAcademy can work together. Macklin returns for his diamond, and ends up taking Harry's gauntlet as well. Spider-Man tracks Macklin to Hammerhead's hideout, where Macklin - now calling himself "Blizzard" - used the gauntlet to attack Hammerhead and his goons when they wouldn't let him keep the diamond. Harry shows up to get his gauntlet back just as Blizzard freezes Spider-Man into a block of ice and escapes. After Harry helps to get him out of the ice, Spider-Man tries to stop Blizzard's rampage across New York. Spider-Man, as Peter Parker, goes to OsAcademy to see if they have a way for him to winterize his webbing and his costume so he can fight Blizzard without freezing. He finds Harry working on a new device based on the gauntlet that emits heat like a blade. Peter leaves after he and Harry argue over the integrity of Harry weaponizing their design. Spider-Man stops Blizzard from attacking police officers. Blizzard uses the gauntlet to create a large, mech-like suit of armor out of ice. Harry, in his thermal suit and armed with his heat sword, shows up to stop Blizzard, but Macklin easily overpowers him. Spider-Man grabs the sword and uses it to cut down Blizzard's weapon. Spider-Man takes the gauntlet back, and the police arrest Macklin. Later, Peter encourages Harry that one day he'll have his moment to use his inventions to save the day. Peter returns the diamond to the jewelry store Macklin stole it from, only to find out that it's a fake display diamond.
