Trivia

  • Frank reads "Moby Dick, as suggested to him by Curtis. Moby Dick is about the story of a man who obsessively seeks revenge on a white whale that took everything from him. This could be related to Frank's mission of killing everyone involved in the murder of his family.
  • The final line of the episode, "Welcome back, Frank" is a reference to the story arc "Welcome Back, Frank", the first story arc of writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon on the character. Netflix's depiction of The Punisher draws a lot from Ennis and Dillon's iteration of the character.
