Synopsis for "Unlike Any Other - Part 4 of 6: Moon Girl"

At the Young Minds Science Expo, Lunella Lafayette presents a device of her own invention that reads and patches out planned obsolescence in smart technology. Various brand representatives eschew her development, but Lunella doubles down, preferring what is right to what is legal, gaining the eye of Hexus. Another young inventor, Calvin Cuttle, loves her idea and introduces himself, showing her his invention: a functioning carbonadium synthesizer. Their excitement is broken up by an invasion of machines with large tentacles, kidnapping children and wreaking havoc. When Calvin is taken by the robots, Lunella suits up as Moon Girl and calls upon Devil Dinosaur to help her save the day! Utilizing microwaves, she frees the other children, but Calvin remains in his tentacled harness, revealed to be in control of the machines. Dubbing himself Squid Kid, he invites Moon Girl to join him before his extraction by A.I.M., a notion she rejects, pushing instead for Squid Kid to join her. They leave each other, and in the aftermath, Moon Girl is approached by Princess Shuri of Wakanda, who invites her and Devil Dinosaur to help her change the world.
