Synopsis for "Best of the Best"
Carol Danvers, the former Avenger once known as Warbird, has returned to her original identity – Ms. Marvel. She flies down through New York City where she finds Stilt Man terrorizing some citizens. Stilt Man flings a car through the air where it nearly strikes a group of children. Ms. Marvel swoops down, catches the car and throws it back at Stilt Man. She then finishes him off with an energy blast.
Later, Carol meets with her close friend, Jessica Drew. She tells Jessica about her experiences with Stilt Man and the fact that she has yet to establish a true name for herself. She further details her recent meeting with public relations agent, Sarah Day. Sarah promised to help Carol refine her public image.
Carol leaves Jessica and flies across town looking to promote herself. Suddenly, a glowing green object streaks past her and she begins to chase after it. Concerned over whether this unidentified object poses a threat, she contacts Captain America. Cap is busy fighting H.Y.D.R.A. agents with Agent-13 and cannot currently assist her.
The green object crashes on the outskirts of Spaulding, Georgia and explodes in a blinding flash of light. Ms. Marvel descends into the epicenter of the blast and discovers that the cause of the phenomenon is a horde of Brood aliens. The Brood begin mercilessly attacking nearby pedestrians.Appearing in "What's Next"

Synopsis for "What's Next"
Nova has arrived on the planet Turakis, where its own defensive weapon, a giant armored beast called Planetfall has gone amok. The inhabitants are pleased to see him but are dismayed that he is the only Nova centurion left. He engages Planetfall, defeating it in one fell swoop, stunning the Turakians. After the fight, he shocks them even more when he reveals that he is a the last Centurion after the war against Annihilus.
He then heads to a Kree outworld called Halexa, under attacks by N-Zone bugs from a stray Annihilation Wave ship. Nova angrily takes them out, before Worldmind tells him to destroy their transport before more could spawn.
He then responds to a distress call from a drifting space station, having been lost six months since the Annihilation War, its entire crew dead from suffocation and shivering. Enraged and saddened that he failed to save them, Rider angrily responds to the next call but he hits a super gravitational event, knocking him from the stargate, where he crashes right into Earth's moon.
Meanwhile on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, S.H.I.E.L.D detects Nova's approach as an UFO with a power level of at least 12. Direct Iron Man/Tony Stark declares that they are dealing with a powerful threat.Appearing in "The Last Iron Fist Story, Part 1"

Synopsis for "The Last Iron Fist Story, Part 1"
Daniel Rand is in a meeting, as owner of Rand Corp., with representatives from Wai-Go Industries and Rand Corp.'s CEO Jeryn Hogarth. Wai-Go proposes to purchase Randtrack Type II Halbach train lines for 10.6 billion dollars. The technology would then be turned over to China's National Maglev Transportation Technology Research Center. Just before signing the contracts, Danny's conscience bothers him and he tells the representatives from Wai-Go that he has concerns giving technology to a country (China) which has a history of human rights violations. Jeryn is disgruntled at Danny's abrupt decision. Danny breaks into Wai-Go Industries offices and finds that the offices, though looking legit, have not been used in a long time. While there, Hydra forces attack Danny and chase him through Manhattan.

Synopsis for "From Genesis to Revelations (Part 1)"
Exodus recruits Frenzy, Voght and Omega Sentinel to help to save the life of Charles Xavier, who is revealed to be barely alive following the events of X-Men: Messiah Complex.
Exodus works to rebuild Xavier's mind, which was damaged when Bishop shot him through the head. A comatose Xavier flashes through memories of the X-Men's early days - the original team's first training session in the Danger Room; arguing with Moira MacTaggart about his militant methods; and asking Cyclops to lead and teach the team in his absence. Having extracted Xavier's consciousness and made his brain a blank slate in order to better rebuild it, Exodus discovers that Charles' mind refuses to take these aspects of himself back. As a last resort, he contacts Magneto to help him fully restore Xavier.
