Synopsis for "100 Monkeys!"
"Captain America" aka Baron Blood is torturing Marty in front of Fiona. Beating him to a pulp in order to get her to cooperate. Demanding that she opens the gateway to Earth-616. Marty tries to tell everyone that Cap is a vampire, which only earns him mockery and a harsher beating. Fiona finally gives in cause she can't stand to watch Marty being beaten any longer. Soon night falls and everything is in readiness, as Cap orders the view-screen activated.
Various images are seen of the human heroes from Earth-616. Cap orders the activation of the portal. Meanwhile, Marty's been playing possum. He's wounded, but not as badly as he's acting. He's planning to push Fiona through the portal once it's activated and then prevent anyone else from going through. His plan goes wrong when the Outcasts attack the Baxter Building. Ape-X is surprised when he sees that Speedball is with the Outcasts. Cap orders the Ape-vengers to kill them all.
Marty saves Fiona from the middle of the fight and then orders her to activate the portal and get out of there. Marty runs off, planning to create a diversion when he's clunked on the head by a splintered branch from the Hulk's wild swing. Meanwhile, Speedball and "Cap" are facing off... when Cap informs him who the traitor was. It was Bruce Banner, who sold them out for promises of being freed from the Hulk. "Cap" throws his shield and injures Speedball, but the shield is caught by the real Cap.
"Cap" angrily charges Cap, and gets whammed in the head by Cap's shield. That's when the Invaders arrive on the scene. Bucky not realizing that the Cap who is standing is the real deal, asks him if he can kill Cap this time, since the Baron got to last time. And notes it would be a pleasure. Cap is shocked by this. The Heroes realize that everything Marty has been saying is true, and join with the Outcasts to attack them.
Meanwhile, Speedball is shouting at Fiona to activate the portal and get out of there. Unfortunately, that's when Baron Blood leaps at him from behind and bites open his throat. Fiona's horrified, and Baron Blood turns on her. He offers her a choice, Speedball will die if he doesn't get medical attention soon. She can either activate the portal and they'll go through together, or she can try to get past him. With no choice, she finally activates the portal. The Baron releases Speedball and leaps for Fiona.
Before Blood can kill Fiona and escape to Earth-616, Marty drives the splintered limb through Baron Blood's back. Unfortunately, typical Gibbon luck means he missed the Baron's heart and just stabbed him through the shoulder. Blood turns on him, grabbing him by the throat and preparing to spike him on the branch when an energy blast fired by Ape-X sends him flying.
Ape-X tells him to go, that he'll deal with Baron Blood. While Ape-X battles Baron Blood, Marty, Fiona, and the critical Speedball flee through the portal back to Earth-616. The battle rages on, with the Hero Apes managing to finally defeat and kill the vampiric Invaders. Ape-X finally kills Baron Blood, and also manages to blow up the portal to ensure nobody else can go through. The "Human" Invisible Woman managed to save everyone by throwing a force field up at the last moment.
Of course, with the portal trashed there's no way of curing Sue now. Johnny promises her that they'll rebuild. Cap asks if they're sure they can cure Sue in the other dimension, and Johnny says that Reed thought it was possible. Cap questions what else they might be able to cure Sue. Spider-Monkey is shown to have webbed up Bucky instead of killed him off.
Back on Earth-616, Speedball survived and is recovering in a hospital bed at State University. Fiona tells him that once the portal is up and running again, they can send him home. Speedball however tells them there's nothing to return home to. His world is tribal, and everyone saw him helping Fiona and Marty over his own people... so the world would brand him a traitor. If he went back, he's as good as dead. He also warns them that the Ape-vengers will find a way to follow. And if they don't get what they want, they'll want blood instead. That his world ran on the Law of the Jungle, survival of the fittest.
Epilogue One: The Earth-616 version of Roy Reyna is out with some of his friends, searching for the shooting star or meteor he saw crash the other night. He gets shocked and finds a Mexican Wrestling Mask.
Epilogue Two: State University. It looks like Marty and Fiona may be a couple now.
Epilogue Three: Avengers Tower. The Ape Speedball shows up during a training session of the Avengers and offers himself for team membership. The Avengers look shocked and stunned.
