Synopsis for "Algorithm of Life"
Scarlet Witch and Pixil are attacked and captured by a creature in the cyber realm. It calls itself Ars Magna, and explains that a 13th century alchemist-philosopher created a logic method to "divine the mind of God by charting the patterns of Nature." The philosopher was executed, but his "living art" remained dormant until the Information Age. It was finally awakened in the cyber realm by Scarlet Witch's powers. Wanda throws another hex, and a hacker's signal appears near their location. She and Pixil combine their power to try reaching the signal together, but Pixil is caught by Ars Magna again. Scarlet Witch escapes without him, and emerges from the hacker's computer.
Notes
- ↑ Morbius had been infected by Lilin blood since Morbius: The Living Vampire #1. While possessed by Bloodthirst, he killed Louise Hastings in Darkhold: Pages from the Book of Sins #15, then helped the Lilin breach the mansion until he regained control in Morbius: The Living Vampire #16.
- ↑ "Siege of Darkness" continues in Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #60.
