Synopsis for ""Save the Tiger" (Part VII of X) - Things Get Worse"
Wolverine rescues Hoan from the trapped boat and gets them both to shore. Hoan acknowledges that in doing so, Wolverine has paid his debt to her, but he decides to stick with her to take down Roche, but warns her that if she really tries to take his place, she'll end the same way. They find and defeat more of Roche's thugs as they're going around punishing businesses allied with the Tiger. It's from one of the captured thugs that they find out that Roche has taken Hoan's friend O'Donnel under suspicion of being the Tiger.

Synopsis for ""Elements of Terror" (Part VII of XII) - Boxes"
Ditillio has been in the swapm for two days, without food or drink, trying to focus on his research to retain sanity (Latverian arm sales, Swiss bank accounts, Costa Dinora, Colombian account, anti-drug operation, FSSI), but as a result he's becoming paranoid. He's rescued by a Satanist hunting crew, but they want him to "return the favor" as a potential sacrifice. In Casagata, Marea and Monteiro are communing with the Man-Thing; she is happy that her deals with the government brought "the Messenger" to her parlor.
In the FSSI, McDonald succeeds in turning Raislback into a super-soldier, thou monstruous in appearance. When he reports to Selbert, the General demands six doses of that serum in two days.
In the Capitol, Choate insists he acted without consent from either National Security, CIA or the President, taking the initiative due to the imminent needs of the Costa Dinora freedom fighter and because he was not using tax-payer funds.
