Synopsis for "Heart of a Spider"
Spider-Man finds himself in a ring fighting Crusher Hogan in a deadly wrestling match. And Crusher became super strong and super fast. Doctor Voodoo appears in front of him and tells him that someone has cast a spell on him and Crusher and that if they die in the dream they are trapped in, they will indeed die. Hogan accuses Spider-Man of causing him to lose money, reputation and wife, but he reminds him that all of this was lost due to his ties to mala and that he now runs a gym. The truth weakens the spell and Doctor Voodoo manages to find its artifact: Doctor Druid and defeat him by breaking the spell. Voodoo explains to Spidey that Druid wanted to rip out his heart and use it in a potion that would give him immortality. Spider-Man then decides to visit Hogan.
