The Marvel Database Project came online March 18th, 2005 as a non-profit site, with the goal of becoming the largest online database pertaining only to Marvel Comics. This site, aka the MDP, is the creation of Jamie Hari. Thanks to the open source software, provided by the MediaWiki foundation, we are able to extend support of this reference to the Marvel Comics fanbase.

The Database uses the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe (aka OHOTMU) and published Marvel works as its primary source of information.

Users are encouraged to list references for the content they submit. Plagiarism is not allowed on this site and plagiarized content will be removed, updated, or appropriately credited with permission from the creator. If you are uncertain about the copyright status of material, read the Marvel Database:Copyrights page for additional information.
