Synopsis
The Avengers and their partners are at a construction site, looking for a new DISK. Wasp, Captain America and Thor are fighting Tim Gilliam, M.O.D.O.K. and Crimson Dynamo, while Akira and Ed try to find the DISK. Ed D-smashes Hulk as well to even the odds. Akira manages to get the DISK, which turns out to be War Machine. Akira D-smashes War Machine onto the field, who proceeds to mop the floor with M.O.D.O.K. and Crimson Dynamo. Tim recalls his villains and teleports away. Back at the base, the team gets to know their new ally better. Since Akira can only use 1 DISK at the time, he has to actively switch between them and act as a messenger in order for Tony and Rhodes to have a conversation. Rhodes lands Tony in hot waters with Pepper when he mentions “a secret night in Miami”.
In Loki’s ice palace, Tim tries to justify his failure, and demonstrates his latest invention: a teleportation device. When the next DISK is located, Loki sends both Tim and Manino Giordani after it. At the Avengers’ base, Hikaru wonders if they too can get new partners, while Ed admires War Machine (to Hulk’s dismay). A harsh remark from Chris makes Ed retreat in his room. Captain America tries to teach Chris not to treat Ed so cold-hearted, but is rebuffed. This brings back memories of his previous young partner, Bucky. Jessica and Akira are scolded by Pepper for not doing their homework. The D-system also locates the new DISK. Ed refuses to show however, and the team has to leave without him and Hulk.
From a bench in the park, Ed sees the jet fly off. Then Hawkeye shows up with his motorcycle. He too scolds Ed for his lack of confidence and threatens to take his DISK and send him home. This enrages Hulk, who stands up for his partner; just like Hawkeye intended. Now that Ed know Hulk considers him a good partner, Hawkeye takes the two of them to the others.
The Avengers and their enemies both reach the location of the DISK, a space center. Tim D-smashes M.O.D.O.K, to which the kids respond by D-smashing Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and Wasp. Manino D-smashes a new villain: Graviton. Graviton proceeds to use his power over gravity to deflect the Avengers’ attacks as well as help M.O.D.O.K. attack the heroes. Soon, the entire team is down. When Ed arrives and sees who they are up against, he comes up with a plan. By D-smashing Hulk at the right moment, Gravitons own power makes Hulk even heavier than usual and thus extra effective. Gravitons’ power goes out of control and even M.O.D.O.K., Tim and Manino get affected. Tim and Manino quickly recall their villains to end the chaos. With Graviton gone, Akira can move again and finds the DISK they came to collect.
