Synopsis for "Spider-Man and Captain America: Ricochet To Freedom!"
While attending the special bicentennial ceremonies in Washington, D.C. commemorating the USA's 200 years since independence, Captain America and Spider-Man were asked by the President to destroy the alien web surrounding the city using the specially-designed capsules launched from huge gun-shaped cannons. Travelling at tremendous speeds, the two heroes managed to each tear a hole through the alien web, thus saving Washington DC from an unknown fate. [1]
Notes
- This was not an individual issue but an advertisement which appeared in numerous comics of February 1977. Due to multiple issues containing the story and digital releases omitting these it is currently easier to display the advert as a separate page.
- Made to promote the Hasbro toy "Ricochet Racers Spider-Man Set"
