Synopsis for "The Lonely Road"

A criminal picks up a man who claims that he can use the power of mind to travel through time and space to the planet Mars. The criminal figures he's just a nut but gets the idea to kill him and plant his ID on the body so the cops will stop looking for him. He asks the man if he can take him to Mars with him, and when the man closes his eyes to concentrate, the criminal dives out of the car sending it careening off the cliff. The criminal is astonished to find that he actually now is on the dead world Mars, having murdered the only man who could have brought him back.

When a man is attacked by a kid in a vampire costume, he becomes so obsessed by the thought of turning into a vampire that he assaults a man and is shot dead by a police officer.

Synopsis for "George!"

A man gains the power of telekinesis after an electric shock and uses it for personal gain. After he uses up his power in committing a murder, he is sentenced to the electric chair. The locals are afraid this method of execution will give him his power back, and he hopes so as well, threatening revenge upon all of them. The execution appears successful, but strange occurrences take place in the morgue and then later in the graveyard. The story ends with two hands bursting through the grave's topsoil.
