Synopsis for "The Return of the Monster"

A young writer travels to Europe wishing to discover the truth of the Frankenstein legend. He travels to a strange village where a young woman reveals herself as the the last living Frankenstein, and that her father had been kidnapped by agents of a foreign power who wish to revive and use the monster as a weapon. They head to Frankenstein Castle but arrive too late as the father has already been killed and the agents succeed in bringing back the monster. The revived monster kills the agents and the whole village before the surviving couple kill it with dynamite. The writer later marries the woman and they keep the monster's existence a secret.

Synopsis for "The Deadly Dwarf!"

A failed ventriloquist discovers his dummy can talk on his own. The dummy claims to be a dwarf and they make a deal on a partnership. They soon become a famous duo with the dummy using the deal for half of the money. The ventriloquist soon becomes too greedy and tries to kill the dwarf only to discover it's really is a living dummy and is murdered by him.

Synopsis for "Don't Shake Hands with the Devil"

Satan sends an emissary to a horror story publisher so that he will read the scroll of suffering and be transported to Hell as a living man. Satan wants his soul because the stories he publishes turn people away from evil, but he cannot collect it until he is dead, so he puts the curse of Satan upon the publisher to kill the first person he sees (as then he will be executed for the crime), and sends him back. But Satan forgets that the first person the publisher sees upon his return to Earth will be the emissary, and when the publisher strangles him, the body disappears so there is no criminal prosecution.

After being responsible for the death of his abusive wife Rebecca her husband agreed to watch her brother's cat, Becca, named after her. While suffering from ailurophobia, fear of cats, the widow slowly went mad and struck the cat with a fireiron before passing out.
