Synopsis for "They Came From Inner Space!"

Wasp, Captain America, and Iron Man have been tied to the ground Gulliver-style by tiny invaders from the Microverse. The guys figure this is somehow Wasp's fault. Jan shrinks down to escape the ropes and start fighting the invaders and she soon gets a helping hand from the arriving Microns. Arcturus Rann explains that their people became aware of the Macroverse because of Hank Pym shrinking objects down into their space. The invaders are there on behalf of Psycho-Man, who had recently conquered the Microverse, and the Microns came to put a stop to the conflict. While they keep the invaders at bay, Wasp flies to the lab to get some spare Pym Particles to shrink Cap and Iron Man out of their ropes so they can join the fight. The evil Microns still have them outnumbered, but Jan brings the fight to a swift end whe she suddenly remembers she can grow back to normal size and just step on the enemy. After the Microns depart, Wasp realizes there are no more Pym Particles around to grow Cap or Iron Man back to normal size, so they're stuck being tiny for a few hours until the effect wears off.

Synopsis for "A Germ of Chance"

Unicorn attacks Stark Tower demanding Stark's rocket fuel formula. Tony is laid out with chicken pox, but with the other Avengers on the other side of the world, he dons his armor anyway and attempts to fight, doing a poor job of it. He's about to give up when his security guard takes a stand against the villain, inspiring Iron Man to keep fighting. He manages to defeat Unicorn and get back to recovering in bed.

Solicit Synopsis

• Disney XD’s smash hit leaps off your screen and into your hands! • When the Microverse gets manic, the Wasp steps up to show it’s not the size of the hero in the fight but the size of the fight in the hero! • Then, Iron Man must defend Stark Enterprises against the Unscrupulous Unicorn – while fending off a festering flu virus!

Notes

  • Captain America appears in the first story wearing the outfit only his Skrull impostor wore during the series. The presence of his physical shield, which was broken while the Skrull infiltration was happening, suggests that this does take place after the shield's repair in "Behold... The Vision", and that Steve Rogers for some reason chose to wear the costume of his discredited impersonator.
