Solicit Synopsis
The spectacular artist showcase of unbelievable illustrators continues! Gene Ha and Zander Cannon reveal an event-filled day in the life of Doctor Strange's associate, Wong, Adam Hughes depicts Nick Fury's final soliloquy at the end of the Second World War, and the Hulk and Wolverine do battle thanks to Mark Waid and Lucio Parrillo! All encapsulated in a larger story by Alex Ross, Kurt Busiek & Steve Darnall! No serious art-lover can afford to miss this series!
Notes
- Nick Fury says he has not fought any Japanese yet. Fury went up against Imperial Japan in Sgt. Fury #10, Sgt. Fury #23, Sgt. Fury #49–50, Capt. Savage and his Leatherneck Raiders #11 and Sgt. Fury #64.
- The depiction of the Howling Commandos' first encounter with Captain America is at odds with two other "first meetings" shown in Sgt. Fury #13/Captain America #383 and in Black Panther/Captain America: Flags of Our Fathers #1. Fury himself had met Captain America before the USA entered the war, in Wolverine: Origins #18.
