Synopsis for "Undefeated"

The undead Daredevil is kept captive in an underground fight club, where he remains the undefeated champion of the ring. Following his latest victory, he is led away by armed soldiers back into his hole, a circular pit not much wider than that of a sewer pipe, and is fed the leftovers of his victims.

As Daredevil feeds, he hears the voices of many people he helped before his infection, both as his superhero persona and his alter-ego, the lawyer Matt Murdock. He also reflects on the many people he's killed since becoming a zombie, including Black Widow, Foggy Nelson, and a mother and her children.

The armed men above are ambushed and killed by Frank Castle, aka the Punisher as he brings a full bag of claymore mines to Daredevil's pit. He offers his former ally a choice-- he can either be killed right now and rid of his torment, or Frank can turn him into a walking bomb to destroy his captors with him the next day.

The next day, new armed soldiers arrive, confused by the disappearance of the previous group. They bring Daredevil out of the pit, and back to the ring, where his main captor -- a man nicknamed "Cap" --notices the undead hero being more quiet than usual, as well as his body being lumpy and misshapen, and questions if the soldiers fed him too much.

As Daredevil is prompted to fight, the mines hidden in his body go off, destroying the fight club and killing everyone inside. On the surface, Punisher hears the screams and sees the explosion leave the sewer pipe before walking away.

Synopsis for "Hope"

The Daily Bugle is being swarmed and invaded by the undead hordes. The few that remain uninfected (including J Jonah Jameson) are being protected by Spider-Man, who continues to fight off wave after wave of zombies, even as he feels his hope fading despite his best efforts to hold onto it.

Jonah activates the fire alarm, distracting the undead and allowing Spider-Man a moment to try and contact the Avengers on his watch. He feels his despair grow when he hears only static over his communication device, and is attacked by two more zombies, Betty Brant -- the first girl he ever loved -- and Robbie Robertson -- the first colleague at the Bugle who ever believed in him.

Then, Hawkeye's voices comes over the comms, telling Spider-Man that the Avengers are on their way. This gives Spider-Man a new burst of hope, but is quickly replaced by horror as he recognizes the next zombie that attacks him is his Aunt May, who seems to be in a rage-induced frenzy as she demands to know where her nephew is.

Despite May's brutal attacks, Spider-Man refuses to fight back against the woman who raises him. He finally removes his mask, revealing that he is her nephew Peter Parker, which seemingly snaps May back into a conscious state, despite her infection. Unsure of where she is and realizing she's become a monster, she tearfully begs Peter to kill her, which he does, much to his own despair.

Peter feels the last of his hope leave him, as he gazes at the mutilated corpse of May on the ground, and becomes aware that his arm has been wounded, sealing his fate as the virus begins to take hold. Jonah leaves the room in which the survivors had been hiding out in, attempting to save Peter-- only to find the wallcrawler succumbing to the infection as Peter screams at him to run.
