Synopsis
A collection of X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and The Punisher. This collection also adds in Online Connectivity, bonus features, and a one-button system for using Special or Super Moves, amongst other minor changes.
Trivia
- To avoid causing health issues with people that have epilepsy, the strobbing light effects from the original games have been removed (such as with Gambit's Royal Flush Super), although this feature is toggable in some of the games.
- This game marks the first time any Marvel vs. Capcom games have been available on a Nintendo console.
- The Punisher Arcade game was included mainly due it being the first Marvel game released by Capcom.
- While not initially planned for release on Xbox One, it was not until September 3rd that an Xbox version was announced, which unlike the other versions it will be released in 2025.
