Mary Jane Watson was an acquaintance of Peter Parker and Flash Thompson, and a student at Midtown High. The year Peter Parker became Spider-Man, she was the school's mascot as training to become an actress. When Spider-Man needed sonic vibrations to remove Venom from Flash, he asked the crowd to make as much noise as they can with Mary Jane encouraging them.[1]
