History
Titania was a supervillain and the lover of Carl Creel, the villain known as the Absorbing Man. When Creel used his powers to transform into a virus which killed half of Earth's population, Titania was all that prevented him from wiping out humanity, after she begged him to stop.[1]
After the mutation of Earth's population and the global famine that followed, Titania stormed a food silo. She fought the Avengers and suffered a blow to the head that put her into a coma. Doctors believed that she would never awaken. Angered by losing her, Creel absorbed the supercomputer Ultron, laying waste to Washington, D.C. and killing the Avengers before being defeated and shattered into pieces by the Vision.
At some point, Titania recovered from her comatose state. Despite Creel's countless atrocities, Titania honestly believed there was a good man inside him. After being re-assembled years after his defeat, Creel attacked Manhattan. He was ultimately convinced to sacrifice himself to restore the Earth's balance of Vibranium. His primary reason for doing so was his love for Titania, wanting to save her by saving the Earth. [2]
Titania heard of his sacrifice, and went to see if it was true. She was brought before Creel's remains by Mar-Vell, who told her that he had sacrificed himself for her.[2]
