History
A team of super-villains formed by The Hood, in order to work together to make serious money. He gathered Sandman, Crossbones (Brock Rumlow), Madame Masque, Absorbing Man, Titania, Batroc, Constrictor, Mister Hyde, Nitro, The Wizard, Chemistro, Cobra, Blizzard and the Wrecking Crew, composed of Wrecker, Bulldozer, Piledriver and Thunderball. Additionally Bushwhacker assisted to the meeting but was killed after an attempt to take the lead of the group and to murder the Hood.[1]
Hood then created the Sapiens Rights League, to protect the sapiens and keep acting as criminals under this cover and with the human populace indirect help, using their meetings and manifestations as way to distract the authorities and slow down the police's actions. Slowly, the true goals of Hood inverted, and he used his criminal organization to conquer Santo Rico, one of the few countries with a sapiens majority, oppressed by the mutant dictators brothers Madison and Lionel Jeffries. Bulldozer and Piledriver were killed there before the two brothers were taken down.[2]
After the bombing of Nitro at a mutant memorial, orchestrated by the S.H.I.E.L.D., Magnus launched an attack on Santo Rico. Hood stayed in the country to defend the inhabitants, and a part of his team chose to remain at his side as well. All of them were killed by the Red Guard, save for Titania who was thrown away from the country by her husband Absorbing Man, right to Mexico, soon before he was himself killed by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s telepaths.[3]
Back to the U.S.A., she kept working in the Sapiens Rights League, spreading Hood's actions and words to the sapiens over the world. The Wizard and Chemistro, ashamed from having deserted the battle, rejoined the organization, supplying the activists with money, weapons, and technology. Soon, sapiens riots stated to pop here and there across the world.[4]Paraphernalia
