The past history of Matt Murdock of Earth-7848 mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart up until his first battle against Electro. In this reality, the battle had the unexpected addition of Spider-Man, who noticed the power being out at the Baxter Building. During the fight, Spider-Man correctly deduced that Daredevil was blind and reveal this right in front of Electro. Electro spread this to the media, revealing a key to Daredevil's abilities to his foes. Despite this, nobody made the connection that Murdock and Daredevil were the same man.

Just as well, when the Owl sought to make Matt Murdock his personal lawyer by rook or by crook, Matt attempted to stop him as Daredevil. The Owl was prepared for this, however thanks to the intervention of Karen Page, Daredevil fought off the Owl. Karen figured out that Murdock and Daredevil were the same man, strengthening their relationship and alienating Matt's partner Foggy Nelson. Karen learned of Dr. Van Eyck who learned a way to cure blindness, and convinced Matt to undergo treatment in Lichtenbad, even though Matt feared that he might lose his other enhanced senses in the process.

There, Matt learned that Duke Klaus Kruger, the ruler of Lichtenbad, was a dictator and sought to liberate the people before being treated by Van Eych. Eych was kidnapped by Kruger, and Daredevil swung into action and stopped him and then saved Eych from sacrificing his life trying to stop an unstable nuclear pile. The atomic pile eliminated Matt's powers and Van Eych eventually cured Matt of his blindness.

Matt figured his days as Daredevil were over until he was kidnapped by the Owl and forced to act as lawyer for Judge Lewis, a judge that previously convicted the Owl. Once more changing into Daredevil, Matt took advantage of the fact that the Owl did not know that Matt's vision was restored to gain the advantage. He saved Lewis, and the Owl was seemingly killed when his owl-plane crashed.

Later, Murdock as Daredevil held a press conference and reveal to the world his true identity and the loss of his powers and announced that he would be running as District Attorney of New York City. He won the race and as D.A. continued to pursue his relationship with Karen Page. When last seen, he still maintained a good friendship with Spider-Man, and he eventually married Karen Page.[1]

His current activities are unknown.
