History
This version of Matthew believed himself to be the original. When Count Nefaria came to the Savage Land in disguise, he imprisoned the original Matthew and created this clone, who suffered from advancement in age. When Captain America and Sharon Carter fought alongside him, they believed him and his family to be suffering side effects from Nefaria's genetic manipulation.[1] After defeating Nefaria, Matthew continued working with Captain America and Sharon Carter in their attempt to reverse some of the damage he had done until he aged to death shortly before they discovered the true Plunder family alive and in stasis.[2]
