History

Matthew Risman fought the mutants alongside his teenage sister Zora, as Apocalypse confronted the X-Men in Philadelphia.

Violent anti-mutant, he educated his sister on the proper treatment of mutants, and even tried to make her kill a mutant kid during an operation where the pair became separated from the resistance, planning to take the Schuylkill River down to the Delaware; there, after killing his parents and brothers, Matthew left a gun between a wounded mutant boy and Zora, and eventually shot the running kid when Zora didn't move for it.

Matthew's death lead to Zora becoming Deadeye.
