History

Maureen and Dor's relationship

Maureen met Dor Green during a singles party after accidentally spilling each other's drinks. They started dating and had a baby after some time, Doreen. For unrevealed reasons, Doreen was born with modified genes that made her part-squirrel, causing her to develop squirrel-like powers ever since she was born.

As Doreen grew up, her parents made sure to hide her abilities from other people so she could fit in society. Due to the nature of Doreen's powers, both Maureen and Dor were aware of their daughter's super heroic activities as "Squirrel Girl" when she was a teenager.
