History

Magneto was apart of the X-Men until the Phoenix Force came to Earth to control Hope Summers. He devoted all of his time to "training" Hope to one day controlling the Phoenix Force.

Despite all of the warnings from Avengers and X-Men he went on with his plans and pushed Hope past her limits. After Hope lost control, he killed her releasing all of her power into him. After striking many fatal blows, he was finally put down by a team effort of Charles Xavier, Hulk, and Wolverine.
