Magneto united with other super-villains in order to overthrow the heroes and take control of the country. He was one of the villians who killed Hawekeye's Avengers team which was betrayed by the Thunderbolts. One of his roles was to kill his "daughter" the Scarlet Witch, which he reluctantly did.[1]
